I often wonder why my very progressive mother always told me that if I wanted to get ahead in life I should become a lobbyist, but Iโd have to look at myself in the mirror everyday.

Itโs like this: when people do it, itโs terrorism, but when corporations do it, itโs legal maneuvering.

So, just to be perfectly clear, a *man* can flat out tell a *woman* that he has previously used physical violence on that he is going to kill her and it’s “a civil matter” and he’s “just blowing off some steam” and there’s “nothing we *<aka; the police>* can do unless he *actually* does something”…ย
…but when a *woman* says something that can be vaguely considered as threatening to a *corporation*, it’s a criminal threat, she’s instantly arrested, and held on a bail that’s far more than the average American’s *yearly* income.
Priorities. Don’t forget.

People should band together and do a class action suit against UHC. People who have lost loved ones, people who are facing death because of denials, people who are living in pain because of medication denials, people who needed diagnostics like scans that were denied and are now facing death because something wasnโt caught soon enough, all of it.
Show how much they paid in to the insurance company, and how needed care was denied by the company.

If it’s not a threat when people state it as a matter of policy, does it automatically becomes a threat when a person says โYou’re next?โ
Suppose I said โBurger, coke, medium fries. You’re next.โ Is that a threat? And if not, then we return to the beginning and say that the insurance companiesโ stated policy is in fact the threat.
It feels like there’s going to be a whole lot of FAFO in the air in the coming years. And to be clear, that’s a statement of opinion, not a threat.

She also said “You are next!” or something to that effect, and that same phrase was also used by the dude that killed the CEO.
I don’t think she need to be arrested but can we please stick to the truth instead of twisting it for karma?
