I’ve always loved Five Guys but I can’t justify paying those prices for food I can make at home so I simply STOPPED eating there the end

Yeah, it’s Five Guys… They’ve always been absurdly overpriced for an extremely mid burger.
Five Guys do business in areas with lots of other food options. You’re paying a luxury tax even if it doesn’t show up as a line item on your receipt. This isn’t some gas station Subway out in the sticks where there aren’t other options.
Just don’t go there.

for those who have never eaten at FG. it’s Little Burger for single patty and Burger for double patty. Unfortunately for 2025, those prices seem fair.
Me, I’d get a little cheeseburger for $9-10 instead and no soda. problem solved (I believe at current prices, $15-17 is what you can expect to pay for a good lunch/dinner by yourself.)
