I recommend people watch Crimewave. The movie itself is more or less ok, but the selling point is that you get to see Sam Raimi and the Coen brothers honing their craft. It’s like they were already walking, but Crimewave is where they are learning to run. It has some very interesting ideas in it.
I saw this as a young child in the 80s. Ended up being a big fan of a lot of people involved in this film but obviously didn’t know any of them at the time. Gave me some pretty weird nightmares, the electric rat killing device messed me up a touch.
