Arguably a remake of Henri George Cluzot’s masterpiece “The Wages of Sin.”

The protagonists are an unlikable bunch, each has run from the fucks they sowed and found themselves trapped in a very authentic looking shit-hole. What lets the film down for me was a little of not caring at all whether any of the assholes made it, and the shots of leaky crates of dynamite in the backs of trucks not inspiring any sense of danger.
4.5/7 Watchable, mostly good actors in cold hard grimy seventies locations, good stuntwork, shame about the ketchup for blood and somewhat forced plot.
