small tear in my leather couch

Hi there, i wasn’t sure where to go but I just noticed it this morning and there’s a small tear on my leather couch. I think it’s just a breakage on the surface kind of deal since nothing is actually torn deeply when I try to press on it. Any help is appreciated, I do wanna cover it and make sure it doesn’t break further, does anyone have any tips or directions on what to do? I think it tore from a button on my jeans. Any help is appreciated
