Honestly? At this point I think it’s less “We go high” and more “What’s the point?” No, really. After nearly a decade of this shit, after all that’s happened, been revealed, and even exposed in their own words and deeds, what could could either Trump or Musk do that would finally make the majority of people admit they are scumbags, crooks, and losers? What crime could they be caught doing red handed that would finally get them in front of a judge and jury? What scandal could they be involved in that would finally ruin them?
Because, to date, we have Trump convicted of 34 criminal charges, adjudicated for rape and fraud, and clearly attempting an insurrection and coup and even that wasn’t enough to make people not vote for him. And Musk sticks his foot in mouth on the biggest social media platform daily and still his fanboys sing his praises. Their respective cults literally don’t care and there isn’t a media or legal apparatus that is willing to call them to task.
So, this is the bottom line. that less the 50% of your fellow citizens l, of those who even bothered to exercise the right to vote “settled” for – presumption on this is most are “decent human beings” – making a decision to accept that in this nation, the very best reflection to the rest of the world for the US are those last few words above following “as a decent human being” replacing “rejected” with “accepted” —-

It should’ve been, “When they go low, we use the high ground to kick their teeth in and curb stomp them.” As soon as Kamala had Walz saying that the campaign was about “joy and lifting people up” I knew it was over. It should’ve been attack after attack. Escalating from “weird” to “pedo rapists.” The last week of the campaign should’ve been running commercials consisting solely of the Epstein tapes with pictures of Trump with Epstein.

Nobody who takes the high ground is ever rewarded for it, and the only intrinsic reward that comes from it is a result of cognitive dissonance at the fact you just let bad things happen to you and calling it “taking the high ground” is a coping mechanism to not feel terrible about letting people walk all over you.
