Haven’t paid any attention this dumbass since Covid hit in 2020. If Zelensky went on, I would most likely listen to the episode. But it wouldn’t be for Rogan.

I can’t listen to him anymore. It’s not even his stance but his ability to completely contradict himself within minutes of making a statement. His whole last Theo interview was a Trump puke fest with so many false statements.
The funniest part was Theo had Stavros on afterwards. They started talking politics at the end and you could tell Theo was trying to retread what Rogan said and Stavros bodies every topic he threw out. It wasn’t all left leaning either.
I’ve lost all respect for this guy. He’s become what he used to hate. It’s so disappointing.

I’m a little confused. I haven’t listened to Rogan in ages. Why wouldn’t he have Zelensky on? Is Rogan pro Russia? Obviously there a tons of morons with microphones out there, but I’ve never heard anyone (that isn’t blatantly compromised) defend what Russia is doing? If he’s pro-Russia then holy fuck he’s really dropped off the deep end?
Please don’t give me some stupid answer, I’m genuinely curious why he wouldn’t want have Zelensky on? From a business standpoint alone, I feel like that would be one of the most listened to episodes ever.

Can we all finally agree that most podcasts are shit and just because someone has a podcast and a microphone doesn’t make them an expert in anything at all except for being a self serving opportunists.
Joe went off the deep end when his feelings got hurt over the ivermectin thing… like many MAGAts, they start to align themselves when they test conspiracies that align with MAGA. Once the backlash from the left starts, they embrace MAGA because their feelings were hurt by the other side.
To be fair, he’s had Bernie Sanders on and tried to get Kamala on. But her campaign wanted him to come to DC and only do an hour. Trump went to Rogan’s studio and did the full 3 hours.
It’s so hard to listen to him, he is an ape.

Was this not realized years ago?
I remember maybe a year ago being recommended a pair of Joe Rogan podcast episodes where a university meteorology professor came on to react to a climate skeptic guy. The professor kept talking about how someone like himself would never be welcomed back on a misinformation podcast like Joe Rogan’s and that he didn’t prepare because he didn’t expect to be allowed to speak.
At the end he was invited back to refute to the skeptic guy directly and said he wouldn’t be returning because respectable people shouldn’t waste their time in public debates. He didn’t make it seem easy to get credible people to lower themselves to appearing on the Joe Rogan podcast to present counter arguments.

Joe Rogan doesn’t wanna offend his conservative audience. Rogan is step one of the alt-right pipeline and he’s well aware.
By giving platform to someone resisting an Authoritarian invader who crushes opposition by force and heavily censors all media which might express dissent Rogan would alienate American conservatives who are not so subtly chomping at the bit for their own flavor of christo-facist hell they want to bring to the US.
I think he’s just doing what he wants. I don’t think he’s worried about fulfilling some consistency code.
