[It was eventually included in the National Defense Authorization Act](https://www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/vanessa-guillen-act-brings-historic-military-reform-calls-justice-pers-rcna12952) that Joe Biden signed into law.
Just a reminder, Trump said he would pay for her funeral….until he found out how much it cost.

Reading up on that whole story, including the bill that was introduced by a DEMOCRAT makes my heart break and my head hurt when I saw that post. Unfortunately, OP of the twitter post doesn’t understand law. Trump is not a convicted criminal unless a criminal court has found him guilty and the legal process, including sentencing, is finalized. As of now, no conviction has been rendered against him in any case, so the term “convicted criminal” or “convicted of SA” (civil case) would not apply.
Note: Before anyone comes at me with some MAGA crap, I’m far from that. If the truth hurts, advocate to fix it.
Okay, again this needs correcting. Donald Trump, whatever you may think of the man, has never been found guilty (I.e. convicted) of sexual assault. He’s been found *liable*. Burden of proof is much lower in a civil case, and you can’t equivocate verdicts from civil and criminal trials. It’s just not how the justice system works.
These details are improtant, even when talking about someone as despicable as Trump.
