Nah when they pulled the complete bullshit Glenn death at the dumpster fake out. That was it for me.
I had an abusive relationship with Walking Dead. It would get boring and I would start to leave and then they would do something awesome to bring me back in.
I pretty much started hate-watching the show, just to see how bad they were gonna fuck it up from the comics, after they killed Coral. Then they tried to replace him with Henry. I stopped watching when they killed Henry 20 mins later.
Dexter, the final season. That last one just tanked the entire series for me. The deadbeat dad ending. Deb admitting feelings for Dexter. So puke.
When Ragnar died on Vikings or Bjorn it killed the show for me
When the town got destroyed and they had to find a new place, I just knew it would be an endless plot cycle.
Game of thrones White Walkers battle at winterfell. The whole battle was atrocious.
The first 3 seasons were good. The introduction of Negan was okay but the drama with Carol was annoying and the show spent waaaaaaay too much time on the Whisperers. At one point I don’t know if I was watching a zombie show or Dawson Creek.
Any of the unexpected and sudden deaths on Downton Abbey.
I dont know why many say this scene made them stop watching. The show had been going nowhere for a while before
When they killed Kate in NCIS.

Fear the Walking Dead season 3 when they killed (and “killed”) the 2 most interesting characters in the show.
They also used a lot of confusingly sepia tinted flashbacks, and flashbacks within flashbacks.
They killed it when they brought Morgan in from TWD. I liked Morgan but fuck if he didn’t mess up that show.

I was even going to mention Game of Thrones. But there were SO many bad moments that ruined the end of the show that I honestly don’t even know which ones to put here.

I stopped here as well when the show was running. I tried to do a rewatch of the entire series, but I had to skip the entirety of S7 because of how bad it was. It gets a little better, but it also gets a lot worse. Not to mention the several spin-off series that are just silly.
Probably Carl dying in TWD. Stupidest decision ever with zero benefit to the overall story. Then Rick left and it was impossible to give a shit after that.
I made it past this, begrudgingly. But then they brought in that damn tiger……that was it for me. Right away. Tiger on. TV off.

This scene didn’t make me stop watching TWD. It was the scene when Rick finally had his chance to kill Negan and he didn’t, and just wandered off. Never watched another episode after that.
Also, the last two episode of How I Met Your Mother completely the entire show for me. I had binged the entire show and quite enjoyed it, and then those two episodes happened and I just have gotten so mad that I blocked most of the show from memory because I don’t remember much about it
