I mean, he’s not wrong about the Speaker not needing to be a member, but since they’re 3rd-in-line to take over the Presidency, things might be a little awkward as Elon isn’t a natural born citizen.
Elon is already the President. Trump is a lame duck VP at this point.

What I don’t get is that conservatives have whined for years about the federal government being full of “unelected bureaucrats,” but when Trump appoints 2 unelected walking, talking conflicts of interest to be in charge of “government efficiency” they are totally lapping it up.
I prefer my unelected government officials to at least be subject matter experts, thanks very much.

This country was built on the foundation that the people should have a say in their leaders and rules of their society. We’ve strayed pretty fuckin far from that and I know I’m not the only one getting really angry about it. ANYONE who has any ounce of respect for this country should be fucking angry about this regardless of how you vote. No decent American who respects why this country exists in the first place should be able to look at what we’ve got in front of us and think “yup this is fine”
I would LOVE to see this happen! IF they put him up the rep’s will overwhelmingly elect him and then not one thing will get done while he is Speaker as there will always be a few reps who actually look at legislation and what the impacts are. We have seen it already in the last term and I think your going to see it even more this time because there is a dozen or so Rep’s know the damage that DJiT wants to wreak on our country and are paying attention. IT would be total lock down.
