She could have had a friend over, a friend on speaker on her phone, or been watching something on TV. Don’t jump to the worst conclusion without more evidence.

OP: Don’t jump to any conclusions. That Google search doesn’t even make sense. That looks for all the world to be it mishearing something.

Had something similar happen, but it was after I got a new phone and my and my ex’s Google searches would both show up in the suggestions on the Google widget I put on my phone.
One morning I went to do a search and the most recent search was “how to break up with long term boyfriend I live with.”
Safe to say that relationship didn’t last much longer.

I saw a notification from my husband looking up hotels near our home. My stomach sank. When I got home, he was telling me about an elderly couple who made a reservation at a hotel on the west coast of Florida instead of the east coast. We live in a tourist town, and people often get lost in our neighborhood. He was walking the dog, and they stopped him. He was trying to find the nearest Hilton to help them out. I was already preparing myself for the worst.

While I understand what your mind is going through, I gotta say… Sometimes, I google things that sound terrible. Like… if I typed “I just broke up with my ex what should I say to him,” maybe I’m looking for a specific reddit post and I’m hoping to read the drama that’s sure to follow.
That being said, I’d also add “reddit” at the end of that search, so… I dunno. Maybe I’m reaching because I’m genuinely hoping you’re not about to go through something terrible right before Christmas and New Years.

Does your wife watch soap operas or “real wives” or something
Those assistant things can pick up random bits of conversation. Might have mistaken the TV for an actual question.
Unless you have already had suspicion of your wife cheating, but in that case you didn’t need this.

Don’t worry, OP. You’re the current, not the ex.
She’s finally broken up with the ex she’s been banging for the last 2 years. This is good news.
Once I got a text from my dad that said “I’m at the hospital, call me when you get this.”
But he was using voice to text and he was actually at Costco.
Hope this is a similarly misheard episode.

Is she breaking up with op? Is she cheating on op and recently decide to end it? The suspense is killing me

Go into your google history and play the recording to actually verify what was said / by who!
Nooooo he deleted the update! Well this doesn’t look good.
in her defense, it was at 4:20
I broke up with my ex? What does that even mean? Your ex means that you are already broken up.
Who tf would ask Google that? I mean, REALLY? Do people really not have basic skills that they need help from AI?
How do you break up with your ex?
Time to hit the lawyer, gym up, stay in milk and drink some school.
Oh shit!!
Good luck
My first thought is that she has a friend over and the friend is breaking up with someone.
It could have been the tv. My Alexa used to listen and talk to the tv. She no longer lives in my house.
Maybe she was looking for a specific Reddit story?? 😭 I’m just trying to be hopeful. I hope things work out and that you’re okay OP.
OP, looks like the mods removed your comment – the one you’d been editing. Can you fill us in with a separate update?
Why the hell did the moderator delete his update comment?
OP posted an update then removed the post. I’m a bit concerned now.
Yeah, was going to ask if you have kids or she has close friends in new relationships.
That marriage (dot) com is the most worrying about this……. I hope she is helping her friend and nothing something coming up
