Photography, specifically landscape photography, it’s so easy to fake and manipulate with today’s technology that it’s hard to tell what’s a true real photo anymore. You don’t even have to be good or lucky anymore. Â

I do astrophotography and that is a phenomenal picture (if its real as in not had the meteor photoshopped in) and insanely lucky. I’ve gotten some nice meteors etc but nothing like that. The lack of space junk is a little suspect and I would say 80% of my photos have a bunch of satellites especially if you zoom in to pixel peep.
Also they’re obviously using a star tracker which is a tripod mount that turns with the orbit to maintain a steady shot on the stars to obtain long exposure shots (or they are stacking a shit ton of images).
Long story short this wasn’t a random person just pointing and shooting to get that picture. If anything they may have put the setup out in the field and let the camera take pictures all night then grabbed the file(s) of the best picture.
