He’s innocent of “terrorism,” that’s for sure. That overblown charge, plus getting state and federal charges piled on top of each other, is proof that they’re trying to make an example of him to deter copycats.

He’s innocent until proven otherwise.

Sadly what is right and what is legal are not the same

Both? Both is good.

Me living in another country watching everyone fight about something that will not affect me in the least:

He just happened to kill a person none of us care for so none of us cared if he was caught. He definitely should go to jail since he murdered someone.

If he had killed literally any other CEO he wouldn’t have sympathy points.

Two things can be true at the same time.

Hot take: it had no effect on my life whatsoever. Except for smothering my homepage.

I haven’t heard of anyone saying he didn’t shot the CEO. Sounds like a straw man

Where’s the sane option

A victim killed their abuser.

He is innocent because he slayed a monster and not a human. If he is the one who actually shot the CEO, than he did a public service.

Is he innocent? No. But should he feel guilty? Also no.

Although the CEO represents something that we all loath, Luigi did commit murder. Why he’s being charged in a federal case is beyond me.

Bootlickers out in force

Fuck that insurance prick and all his vapid defenders

US is one of few western countries not offering health care to the public. Insurance should not regulate health care and therefore the right to the best health care = life.

Murder is bad. That was an execution. The evil ceo was responsible for so much pain, suffering, and death. He deserved daily torture over a long life locked up in a small box, but alas…. St. Luigi the Merciful.

An innocent person is someone who has done no wrong

Listen bro, murder is ok if it is approved by the US government or if its done against poor people. If its both then its a good thing.

Thats what I get from the news anyway

He didn’t do it, but they deserved it.

C) The CEO deserved it. Release Luigi.

*IF* he shot him he did the right thing. It he didn’t then he is innocent.

I’m proud of him even though he didn’t do it

If he did the right thing, he is innocent. There is no conundrum here. Tbh talking about government overreach: some dude minding his own business just charged for murder because he took out some garbage. Make it make sense.

Liberals lost all moral conscience. Killing a child in the womb is ok, and now shooting a guy in the back of the head is justified. Mental illness is spreading fast unfortunately.

It’s really simple. Even though the victim is despicable he didn’t deserve that. Put him in prison for murder. Terrorism is also fitting because he could inspire copycats.

I believe hes innocent personally. You’re meaning to tell me this guy committed an assassination in broad daylight in the streets of New York, got away without being ID’d, was found in a McDonald’s with the gun three days later a few states away and plead innocent? Sounds fishy to me.

As for cognitive dissonance, I try to remain consistent when referring to the CEO killer and Luigi Mangione. (I sometimes conflate the two as the same by mistake, but I firmly believe he’s innocent and just the fall guy to prevent further rebellion)

I think the taking of life no matter who is wrong. Yes, the ceo made greedy choices that affected lots of people, but there’s a right way and a wrong way of doing things. Taking human life is never the right thing.

Murder is bad and assuming he is guilty he should be in jail

I’ve never seen this meme with two wrong answers lmao.
