Try getting your buds to hit up a board game cafe if there are any in your area. Most of em are open late and sell booze, the vibe is much more chill and there’s games.

A pub? There’s quiet boozers, that are only frequented by the locals, so you can find a quiet corner and chat.
Try a [dancehall](https://www.twinsistersdancehall.com/) from the 1800s. Music, people, two stepping, but you can step outside for a bit of quiet and a smoke. Probably be a BBQ & Mexican food truck at hand, too.

I recommend outside. Somewhere with some nature and a fire preferably. Cooking food on said fire is very nice too.
The Gym. It’s 9pm for me, I’m at the gym, and there are plenty of interesting folks here.
Then go out. Drive somewhere.
Library. It’s nice. Bring a notepad, read something cool, and take notes.

Go see a movie that’s been out for a while. It’s not crowded (may even be empty), they sell you snacks, and it’s easy to sneak in a flask! Bonus: if you are in an empty room you can have your own MST3K experience.
