The modeling industry focuses less on what men find attractive and more on how clothes fit and drape on specific body types. This individual has a figure closely resembling the thin silhouettes in fashion designers’ sketches, allowing the clothing to align with their envisioned designs.

I look like this. Single for 21 years lol so probably just modeling. That’s why I hate when ppl say “oh you have a model body” like thanks girl that means nothing unless I have a model face too.

Some of it is practicality. Easier to make clothes samples fit on a shoot or runway well than someone with well defined curves etc. most models with more curves still tend to have very small measurements where they’re the widest for example
Doesn’t account for all though obv. A lot of it is still niche beauty standards

This is also a particular kind of model, where the objective is not to be ‘sexy’, but almost a blank canvas for the designs. Usually used by brands like Acne, DVN, etc

On the spectrum of thin to fat, I’m thinking the majority of men prefer a girl somewhere in the thin-to-average half.
The girl pictured is obviously a bit too near the extreme end, but better that than the other extreme end.

This body looks good in clothing – and high end expensive clothing.
This body is also usually found on younger women.
This type of body has been found to be more attractive to higher earners. In general a curvy body was correlated with men of lower socioeconomic status. Look it up.
You’ll find this body type in luxury country clubs, galas, soirées, old money circles, Ivy League families, wealthy men with much younger wives. This isn’t a Miami club scene body type.

Men prefer larger breasts on average and wider hip to waist ratios (more curves). There’s about a billion studies on it.
That said, this body is also attractive. It’s just not the ‘most’ attractive.

anyone on here posting what “all men” or “men in general” want is weird. everyone is differently nuanced in what they find attractive or not. for *me*, this is very unattractive; the malnourished/heroin-chic just looks unhealthy & uncomfortable to me. Can’t imagine hugging someone like this.

I have a similar body type, just a bit more of a hour glass shape. In my experience, people will talk a lot of shit about girls who look like this being too skinny online, but in real life I‘ve had no problem getting attention from guys. Actually the exact opposite issue. So yes, I would definitely say there is plenty of men attracted to these type of slim model type bodies. Being proportionate and knowing how to dress for the body type is more important than measurements

I’ve always heard the fashion industry aims to push near unobtainable standards for women to constantly feel inadequate with themselves and spend lots of money attempting to replicate what they see daily. Personally, I find being able to see certain bones off-putting, especially around the neck/upper ribs.
Unfortunately, attraction is relative to location and cultural influences, whether they’re toxic/unhealthy or not. Repetition pushes familiarity and like in the art world that familiarity can make what doesn’t look good, “look good”. Think of the tribe of men who drink blood and fats to get the largest gut, the women who put disks around their necks, or even in their lips, trendy hairstyles throughout the decades.
To summarize a novel… Yes, some men obviously find that specific body type attractive. Some guys find any body type attractive if they know that body is female, some men find huge women attractive.

I don’t really find these size 0 models are attractive. I think more men enjoy curves. The fashion industry uses them because the extremely lean look makes for dramatic photos and is nowadays often paired with baggy or too big clothes to accentuate it even more. After all models are there to “sell” the clothes or products

The modeling industry is almost as dumb as the fashion industry. Like every year they take some quality that men like and think ramping it uo to 15 is a good idea.
Like thin girls? This one’s nothing but skin and bones!
Like thicc girls? This one’s 300lbs overweight!
Like a little bit of makeup? These girls are plastered in so much of it they look like plastic dolls!
The last trend i noticed was that, for a while, freckles were seen as very unattractive (only by the industry). But when some people said that freckles were cute, they decided to decelope an app to put freckles on every girl.
