Trump is so ignorant. Essentially all sex crimes are prosecuted at the state level, unless it’s in international waters or you somehow manage to force sex on someone while crossing state lines.

Not an expert on the law, but does the statute actually allow for the death penalty in rape cases? I’m pretty sure the statute on the death penalty fo murder cases has some pretty high criteria to be applicable. The DOJ can’t pursue it if it isn’t in the law.
It would be karma, if he were then criminally convicted of it.
