It’s kinda hard to make friends when being around people feel exhausting and drains your social batteries.
Such a weird misapprehension to think that somehow people are obligated to maintain friends.
Why do extroverts get so bothered by introverts existing? It’s not like introverts are all up in your face calling you stupid for having friends, because they would never do that without provocation.

OP has never lived in a community surrounded by conservative evangelical Christians. Sometimes not having a lot of friends is a matter of principle.
I wish people understood that introvert and extrovert are not some scientifically accurate determination but a social construct generally used by people who like to see themselves as introverts to deflect from having to interact reasonably with people. It’s a preference like ice cream flavours or chip flavours, not a preference like sex.

I mean agreed. I’ve never met a mentally healthy or sane introvert who didn’t have a single friend. Usually there’s at least 1 friend. If they have zero that’s a huge red flag and not just being an introvert but being unable to maintain a single friendship likely because they can’t see their own faults and blame everyone else. Never once has this not been true or the case.
Sorry but 90% of shit like this I see is introverts bashing extroverts for daring to try to interact with them.
The first post is dumb, but that’s NOT a clever comeback. You’re not an introvert if you have no friends, and you’re not a problem. But you do have a problem. It’s not healthy or normal to be totally socially isolated.
