“The group in the cartoon included Mark Zuckerberg/Facebook & Meta founder and CEO, Sam Altman/AI CEO, Patrick Soon-Shiong/LA Times publisher, the Walt Disney Company/ABC News, and Jeff Bezos/Washington Post owner.”

From her statement on why she was to resign.

Good for her. The cartoon was bang on. Bezos et al. absolutely groveled at trump’s feet during the election, especially the media owners who sane washed all his incoherent rambles. The billionaire class has such thin skin.

This should be seen everywhere.

Funny how a simple cartoon can ruffle so many feathers. Such unnecessary censorship. Good for her for quitting. Hope she gets picked up by an outlet with a backbone.

We have fragile megalomaniac oligarchs taking power. Right wing Post doesn’t want to risk their spot at Trump’s teat.

Sad that she lost a probably comfortable position, but it’s good she stood by her ethics. If only doing that was more rewarding these days beyond random people online giving you a pat on the back.

i thought they stabbed mickey in the ass

So much for Bezos leaving the editorial decisions to the pros.

I sure do love the last three words in this post.

It depicts real life events that we saw on the news. So the crime she committed was what?

It would be more accurate to have them grovel at Musk’s feet.

Once upon a time, Putin’s oligarchs did the same. These billionaires are too dumb to see what is coming to them.

Glad the Washington Post is occasionally helping me confirm my decision to cancel my subscription was a good one.

The bad cartoon version would be with everybodys names printed on them.

So is the genuflecting hairpiece supposed to be Elon? Cause for the life of me, all I see is Trump groveling at Trump’s feet.

Three have bags of money, one has lipstick?

That’s maybe the best political cartoon I’ve seen in years

I stopped reading the Washington Post the day it was bought by Jeff Bezos.

I love that you don’t even have to show his head to know who it is. No one else stands like he does. He’s such a caricature of a man.

And the ghost of Katherine Graham wept…

The nerve of them to pretend it wasn’t the content itself that got the cartoon pulled…

I dropped that shit paper after he sent subscribers a letter, BLAMING US for the pervasive distrust in media.

Bezos has shown himself to be both greedy and cowardly.

I don’t think Jeff will care if anyone sees this.

Aaah the land of the free…

Oof, that Mickey Mouse lol

Now shell never get to criticize him again! Great plan!

Fuck Bezos

Money may equal power, but power still trumps money (pun intended)

“Democracy dies in darkness”

Was that a caution or a promise?

I honestly don’t think Bezos cares as long as he gets his military contract deals along with a deregulated market to help him get more profits, and unfortunately he isn’t the only tech bro to see that…

I’m not sure I can keep my sub, dang

And if bezos wasn’t such an insecure prick and could take the criticism, I never would have seen the cartoon.

Oh wow, so Trump definitely had a campaign funding edge. Right? RIGHT?!!

What’s the meaning of the lipstick?

I don’t think Bezos really cares who sees this cartoon since he can just buy the government.

Bezos had no involvement. You think he’s reviewing everything at Wa Po? Some meddling management did this.

Cheers to the cartoonist for preserving the centaur stance, lol.
