Strawberry is quite misleading

Blueberry. It’s blue and it’s a berry.

the colour was named after the fruit so not really

Pomegranate?!

Starfruit also lives up to the name

Banana. Should be called yellow penis instead.

Dragonfruit is so utterly disappointing. Cool-looking outside, alright-looking inside, blandest taste ever.

Does a mango make a man go?

Idk passionfruit starts a passion in my stomach (I have terrible acid reflux)

Apple is… well, very apple-y.

Only in English

pine apple too had pine fruit type on out but apple didnt suit

honeydew?

Honeydew is so frickin good though

Im kind of glad the g-rape-fruit does not live up to its name.

Oranges are tangerine colored and vice versa. Just something I’ve heard online.

How dare you insult grapefruit and honeydew like this. I will be sueing.

Dragonfruit does though

When I see this I think of orange and it will always be banana second

Can we get confirmation on pineberry?

soursop – bit sour…..and soppy

custard apple – texture like custard

monstera deliciosa – grows up to 12 inch long fruit……so……

Jackfruit- healthy, strong, and full of vital energy.

Kiwi Fruit. You are not a bird. Booooo.

Bananas.. how am I to accurately gauge scale if they’re always a different size..

I’m craving while reading these fruits

BaNaNa! It’s truly as silly as it sounds.

Lemon.

The color orange used to be called yellow-red.

Pears are the worst 2×1 scam in History.

Pineapple…

Watermelon may *seem* like it gives you what it promises, but it’s technically a berry, not a melon.

Idk, in Colombia oranges aren’t orange XD

Starfruit does, too.

Can someone explain to me how the grapefruit is not living up to its name?

The jalapeno pepper lives up to its name. Apparently the name literally means “of Jalapa” which is where the pepper comes from. And it is actually a pepper.

Tomato is from the Nahuatl word Tomatl, which literally means “fat water fruit”.

Chili pepper is accurate but redundant. In its original language (also Nahuatl), chīlli literally means hot pepper. So Chili pepper means hot pepper pepper.

Not just fruits, a coconut doesn’t taste anything like coco.
