For anyone curious, rednote is the English name of the actual app (xiaohongshu). Wouldn’t exactly describe it as the Chinese equivalent of TikTok (they have one called douyin), it’s kind of a Pinterest Tik Tok hybrid

and also the female stories: xx stories, for the trad wives
last but not least: xxx stories, for the hard working adult

that joke would not have been possible with the old name^^
