A big hose clamp and a hex nut driver. Open your hose clamp up and put around your tube, put tube on dryer hole, move hose clamp to clamp down on both, tighten your hose clamp down, and you’re ready to rock.

i have had to do this countless times and have yet found a trick other than patience and persistence and suddenly viola its on. rolll the end out fully so its not all bunched up and have tape on standby to secure it once you got it
I replaced the dryer exhaust hose a few months ago. The hose clamps can’t really compress the hose enough to stay on unless you cut about 1-2″ into the hose in maybe 4 places so they can overlap as you tighten. Then, use HVAC tape to seal it.
I struggled with that damned hose, and I’m still not sure whether the tape or the clamp is holding things together.
i once needed to attach 2 of the hoses so i cut both ends of a 2 litre bottle, put it inside either end and used duck tape. Might work in your situation if you give up trying to get it back on but need stuff dried asap
