I’d say this ban it’s actually bad, first of all for the way and fake reason it was banned, but also for the loss of communities that were tighter then anywhere else. It was golden from a “cultural” view because these tight and niche communities could engage with the public thanks to the echo chamber tiktok was and thus create new words and ideas. Even though there was definetly a lot of cringe and stupid shit, there was also other, better stuff.

Edit: My point is it was a great breeding ground for music, ideas and other stuff.

They created an app that has completely addicted young Americans. Try and take away an addiction and people get seriously pissed.
