Doesn’t this just make his Nazi salute even more insulting? How can he claim ignorance now?

This one confuses me bc I’ve seen it a lot.
Are we to understand that if you do something that seems antithetical to something else, you can’t possibly be the “something else?”
By this logic, if I go to a class on anger management and then kill someone in a heated rage and I’m called a murderer, can my defense be “well, see that’s not possible because…” ?

Now this picture does prove something…
Elon did **not** start using his children as human shields after Luigi. He started way earlier
Actually a lot of people get invited to visit Auschwitz to show them the error of their ways, and make them aware that what they said was bullshit – good example would be Farid Bang and Kollegah, two “rappers” and self-proclaimed “alpha males” who ran into a lot of shit by boasting in one of their “songs” that their bodies are more ripped / have better muscle definition than those of Auschwitz inmates
After the scandal they got invited to Auschwitz, pretended to be all redeemed and understanding and contrite, and shortly after went back to the same shit.
On another note, you can visit a hundred car factories, learn all about the history of cars, can write award winning essays on various models of cars… and still be a shitty driver

Nazis hated everyone not ideologically pure. Jews were an easy target because of the widespread antisemitic attitudes of the time. Nowadays, Islam would be a far easier target, but obviously, the republican party would never do such a thing.
I too have been to Auschwitz, and Sobibor, doesn’t make me a supporter of Israel or an antisemite.
It’s history and we need to learn from it.

The fact that a grown adult man had to physically travel and be personally shown Auschwitz and a news story about it tells me it was more about optics than it was ever about him actually learning anything.

Reality is he probably viewed it as a monument to the Nazis, not to their victims.

All he really has to do is some public announcement saying that wasn’t the intention. Like, it wouldn’t make me like him, and I’d still be skeptical. But it would at least be him saying it, and him publicly saying that it’s a bad thing.
His silence is fodder, though. We’re used to people jumping through hoops to pretend we didn’t see what we saw. Twice. In a row. Towards the crowd and then the flag.

The best ~~Tarentino movie~~ instruction manual in my opinion:
Each and every man under my command owes me one hundred Nazi scalps. And I want my scalps. And all y’all will git me one hundred Nazi scalps, taken from the heads of one hundred dead Nazis. Or you will die tryin’.

Only a Nazi or a psychopath would do a Nazi salute twice at a presidential inauguration.
Those are the only two options so take your pick.

He did that “stupid hand gesture” twice in a row. Also he put his entire body into that gesture, not just his hand. Man felt proud of it. Absolutely disgusting.

[I wonder if there was a specific, ironic reason Musk went to Auschwitz…](https://apnews.com/article/poland-holocaust-musk-auschwitz-64de614f79ab70de0c9f2ac8d509168e)
It wasn’t the study trip the rabbis thought it was.
Geez, the guy gives two Nazi salutes, and people start calling him a Nazi.
There’s a Twilight Zone episode that shows A Nazi re-visiting. It’s brilliant
Seeing all these hardcore Zionist accounts rush to his defense for the nazi salute sure is eye opening
Who is Ben Shapiro? His assistant?
Elon was initially a holocaust denier. However, after visiting Auschwitz, he did a complete 180.
Only now, he can’t believe it only happened once.
Baby zios are Nahsee too…like hello
And HOW MANY TIMES did he do this *unintentional* Nazi salute, might I ask??
He was taking notes.
You are an idiot if you think I believe it was anything other than a Nazi salute.
The fact that he went there and did it now means he’s a piece of shit nazi
It’s interesting how short a memory these people have.
Yes he visited Auschwitz and Israel to talk about the Holocaust and what it meant.
But let’s not forget why he had to travel there…
It was after he was [spreading misinformation ](https://news.sky.com/story/elon-musks-x-removes-holocaust-denial-post-after-days-of-criticism-12944991) about the Holocaust and its impact.
The trip to Auschwitz was to save face and to gaslight upon the Nazi sympathizer claims further.
