Reading the comments was depressing. There’s really no getting through those people. They keep reinforcing each other instead of seeing thr obvious writing on the wall. I get that it’s hard to see yourself as the bad guys and no one really wants to admit they’ve been fooled, but they’ve made laughing at people their whole personality.

I’ve learned not to put my trust in centralised social media platforms, including reddit. But for now I’m enjoying my time here and the vibes seem alright, knock on wood.
Wait till you realize you’re going to need those people to make a real change in this country and stop letting the rich divide us. We should stop yelling at them and start manipulating them. It can be done as we’ve seen. Both sides have been fucking them american people for decades, if the rich really wanted to help us they would have, instead we get crumbs once in awhile to keep us in our place.
Trump was right about there being a swamp, but he was wrong about who it is, it’s all of the rich. They exploit us, and manipulate us into hating each other so we can never rise up against the rich.
I just don’t understand why conservatives are riding this hard for X. I really don’t. It’s a social media platform whose CEO is not one of them, not a politician, and certainly not acting in their best interest. Elon is *no one* to them.
I mean, to be perfectly clear, I *see* why. Trump is in his pocket (I almost typed the other way around, but let’s be realistic), and Elon has all but become the new face of their backwards, fascist party. A word against X is a word against Elon is a word against Trump is a word against them.

People flocked to Reddit as a result of the Conservative Hyper-Authoritarian Right-Wing conversion swing of many other platforms (Twitter, Facebook, etc.). If the admins were to take a stand against this, they’d be nuking their own platform. We would go somewhere else and not think twice. Our community has had to abandon others before, we will do it again.

I see complaints of Reddit being an echo chamber and perhaps it is. I doubt there is any social media right now that *isn’t*. We saw the biggest 3 or 4 represented at that event.

The earth must heal and we must be the ones who maintain peace in all spaces. The time of violence, hatred, and bigotry is medieval and outdated. In order to create a world where everyone has a seat at the table and a meal on their plate, we must unite as a collective, and lead by example in every way.
The world will adapt to and change based on the energy we program into it. Time to get to work friends.
