Social media is a dumpster fire, but Reddit…as long as you avoid the drama subreddits
Have done exactly this for a decade, much healthier as long as you stay away from the not ridiculous subs

Reddit isn’t social
I just have Bluesky, Discord, and Reddit nowadays
On none of these do I feel pressured to stay on there against my will. I just do whatever I want to here and then get off.
Reddit is different, stay.
I honestly want to quit reddit. This place does numbers to my mental health but its also where i come see a bunch of stuff that I enjoy. its the biggest double edge sword in my life right now. Unsure what to do.
No I want to be done with Reddit
Only reason I don’t quit Facebook is because I’m in groups that show when metal bands are coming thru.

Ok I understand. This is why i want to keep posting funny things.
Reddits not that bad; its mostly hobby-based, anonymous and easy to curate your experience (so its about as good as you make it). I only really use Reddit, Discord and Youtube these days. Bluesky isn’t bad for sports news and art either but you really have to tailor it down.
Why do you want to quit?
You want what you hate but under a different label.
