Amazing. I have a good friend who is 100% PTSD disabled from military service. He has a service dog trained to react to stress by sitting in a person’s lap. Not so long ago, he came over to visit and the dog spent the entire time in my lap. Yup. Good dog.

My older sister discovered she has MCAS because of a cat who was trained to alert his owner to her own MCAS flare ups! The cat kept coming over to my sister and rubbing up on her and after talking to his owner they realized my sister was dealing with all the same symptoms as the owner. Animals are amazing
This happened to me at the gynecologist. She was all up there and said I should get my heart checked. My PCP was pretty annoyed when I told him the reason I was there but the gyno ended up being correct and I have a mild irregular heartbeat

No idea what makes it a ‘mildly irregular heartbeat’ vs a relevant arrhythmia, but I would assume the best they could do is tell the person to avoid alcohol, get yearly checkups, and exercise.
