Well…..if your are working a job that is productive and adds value to the organization then you will be fine. If you are just collecting a check and not adding value than you will be gone. That is the way business works. It’s just simple math. 🙄

When they start celebrating the lay off of of over 2.6 million people. Remind them:

The government is the largest employer in the country by far and with the buy out ending, they are over night hitting the market at double the size of unemployment during the 2008 recession and you think that won’t effect the private sector? At any point in any context, is laying off 1.5 to 2.6 million jobs a good thing?

Where do you think those federal employees will go. Better yet where will their advanced education and experience in their fields take them. With experience handling billions to trillions in projects, experience with contractors, working with foreign governments, and doing so at a much lower salary with rare experience most in the private industry would never obtain.

Do you really think everything in the private sector remains unscathed, that demand won’t decrease your salary, stop your promotions, or push you out? Lay-offs private or public still take wealth away from the people. I would much rather give my tax money to American working employees in the public sector than move excess funds to a wealth fund that invests trillions into the stock market that overwhelmingly benefits an ever shrinking minority of investors that actively excludes most Americans.

I just dont understand what is so good about this.
