The Park System is sometimes called America’s Greatest Idea. Expect to start seeing pieces of it sold off for resource extraction and to become private resorts for the wealthy. Tossing out employees is a major first step.
This is the exact optics the resistance needs. Wave American flags at every single protest. Send a strong message that you are the *real* America, not the billionaire embezzlers of our tax dollars or their sycophants.
(Not so) Fun fact: The US federal government has a direct hire program for disabled veterans. Since their hiring process is truncated, their probationary period is two years instead of the normal one. Musk/Trump telling all agencies to fire their probationary employees is disproportionately targeting disabled veterans.
