I get the straight white christian dudes pushing this shit. No downside. But the women? Who do you think is getting knocked the fuck out in a bathroom because they don’t look like Gisele or have a short haircut. In the UK a cancer patient got assaulted for “being a man” while she was celebrating good news about her cancer at a pub. Women are going to lose rights and be assaulted both physically and sexually. They will be pushed even lower and lower and lower and when they ask why the men in charge will tell them it is 0.5% of the population that is at fault for that. And the dumb ones like Joanne Holocaust Denier Rowling will believe them.
Cis women will suffer the most.
Trans will suffer the second most.
And yet that will not stop trans from being born and fighting for their rights. Like trying to drink the ocean with a straw, no winning.
edit: what i meant by cis women will suffer the most is that Trans people have not stopped suffering and holding their head down since, ever. Cis women will suffer in the sense that these laws that they expect to affect only a tiny minority of people will affect them harshly and unexpectedly. Of course trans people will get the brunt of it. I did not mean to minimize anyone’s suffering, i was just trying to make a different point and perhaps failed in delivery.
If yall haven’t seen his sister Lux, you have to look her up right neowww. She is literally one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen, and she says Pedro was super kind and so supportive of her coming out as trans.
