My ex BF and I bought copies of the same book so that we could read it together. It was a cute idea, but I read it and he didn’t.

I’m stuck on them saying good morning at 4 pm.
My weird quirk is that I collect racing, motorcycle, and automobile books. I have a lot of them. I mean a LOT. So, if the conversation turns to books and I say, “I’m an avid reader, too!” The next question is always what I’m reading right now and the answer is always something like a history of the attempt to revive the Vanderbilt Cup races in the 1930s. Then it gets quiet.
Personally, I think this is a wonderful idea, but I am a reader, so …
