As a proud owner of a Luxe + Willow flosser, you want to make sure it remains in top condition to continue providing you with the best oral care. Regular cleaning is essential to prevent the buildup of plaque, bacteria, and other debris that can compromise the device’s performance and longevity. In this article, we’ll guide you through a simple and effective way to clean your Luxe + Willow flosser.
Why Clean Your Luxe + Willow Flosser?
Dirty or neglected flossers can become breeding grounds for bacteria, which can:
- Reduce the effectiveness of the device
- Cause unpleasant odors
- Increase the risk of gum disease and other oral health issues
- Require more frequent replacements
By cleaning your Luxe + Willow flosser regularly, you can:
- Ensure optimal performance
- Prevent bacterial buildup
- Prolong its lifespan
- Enjoy a more comfortable and hygienic oral care experience
Materials Needed:
To clean your Luxe + Willow flosser, you’ll need the following items:
- Soft, lint-free cloth or brush
- Mild soap or soap-free cleaning solution (preferably gentle and fragrance-free)
- Warm water
- A dry, soft cloth for drying
Step-by-Step Cleaning Guide:
- Rinse the flosser with warm water: Hold the flosser under warm running water to remove any loose particles and debris.
- Apply a small amount of soap or cleaning solution: Gently apply a small amount of soap or cleaning solution to the cloth or brush. Avoid applying soap directly to the flosser.
- Gently scrub the flosser: Use the cloth or brush to gently scrub the entire flosser, paying special attention to crevices and areas where debris tends to accumulate.
- Rinse thoroughly: Rinse the flosser under running warm water to remove any soap residue or debris.
- Dry the flosser: Use a dry, soft cloth to gently pat the flosser dry. This will help prevent water spots and mineral deposits.
- Check and clean the flosser tip: Inspect the flosser tip for any stubborn debris or buildup. Use a small, soft-bristled brush or a cotton swab to gently remove any remaining particles.
- Store the flosser properly: Once clean and dry, store your Luxe + Willow flosser in its original packaging or a clean, dry environment to prevent contamination.
Additional Tips:
- Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads, as these can damage the flosser’s surface.
- If you notice stubborn stains or buildup, mix baking soda and water to create a paste. Apply the paste to the affected area, let it sit for 15 minutes, and then rinse as usual.
- To maintain your flosser’s longevity, target regular cleaning at least once a week. For heavy users, daily cleaning may be necessary.
By following these simple steps, you’ll be able to keep your Luxe + Willow flosser in top condition, ensuring optimal performance, oral health, and a fresh, confident smile.
Hey everybody,
I was gifted this flosser and the box/instructions were thrown out. How is this thing cleaned exactly? I can't find any videos or instructions online.
I dont know if I'm supposed to take apart the silicone tube and the plastic bit at the end.
Am I supposed to take this apart and clean it after every single use? I've been doing that but do yall water floss once or twice a day? I'm a little lost here folks.
