I had a calico as a kid that got pregnant.. She was less than a year old and as far as we knew hadnt gone in heat which at the time the vet said was necessary, mom brought in an orange tom cat after getting him neutered. She kept him locked up like the vet said but he escaped and still has enough to get the job done. Their five kittens came out exactly like this. It’s kind of creepy how similar they are.

This happens to most cats. Cat genetics are just weird, even discounting the fact that they can have multiple baby-daddies in the same litter.
