I guess this is nice but also weird he even reposted it for all of his followers to see????
The sentiment is nice but I’m a little confused as to why he posted this? I could be completely missing something here (are they friends? Did something happen today/recently to trigger this defense?), but if someone used these photos of me to make this statement out of the blue and with no rhyme or reason I would be pissed. NOT because I don’t think she looks beautiful in both – because I absolutely do – but because if this post is unsanctioned it reads as he’s throwing her under the bus to make this “heroic” proclamation/make himself look like a good guy.
EDIT I googled and it looks like there were rumors they dated way back when. Making this compilation out of the blue to post is still bizarre to me though.

I don’t think I could ever be on social media if this was my comment section. Poor woman can’t win. And in WHAT universe is the left ‘bigbig’ or ‘an absolute unit’, come on now.
All these people ignoring the fact that she has lupus and her weight fluctuates with medications. Not that anyone’s weight and how they gain/lose is it is anyone’s business.
People suck and should stop commenting on weight. Like Chadwick Boseman and Michelle Trachtenberg, people make evil comments and turns out someone is actually sick.
Keep your thoughts in your heads when it comes to weight, weirdos.

Is she the one that originally posted these photos with those comments? Because otherwise he’s just bringing more attention to them and focus on her body.
I wouldn’t feel defended by this, I’d be like “WTF? You just turned this into a story.”

Am I imagining things or has he also spoken out about the attention he received about his own body severely effected his mental health and led to body dysmorphia?

She’s had a kidney transplant and an autoimmune disease, I’d be willing to bet she’s not on any additional medication than she has to already take to stay alive..
