I don’t know anything about this band or this vocalist specifically, but metal and hip hop is literally one of the best fusion genres. Rage Against the Machine, Beastie Boys, Death Grips, JPEGMAFIA’s new joint, Korn, Slipknot, Linkin Park, hell even Denzel Curry and XXXTentacion have done that pretty well on some of their songs.
Hey now, I don’t know who dude is, and metal isn’t my thing. However, we shouldn’t hate on any artist expression Young Kenny wants to do. Shot might be fire.

As a metal fan, not Disturbed. Kendrick would sound better with groups in the core scene at the moment, like Tallah or a more mainstream band like Gojira.

I think Kendrick collaborating with a rock band could be sick. I could think of 100 other bands that would be more interesting than Disturbed though lol. Radiohead/The Smile, Mdou Moctar, Animal Collective, King Gizzard, Tool. (Just not Imagine Dragons ever again either)
They certainly had some hits back in the day and were literally my first concert but Draiman is a Zionist prick. Like he literally signed an IDF missile just to emphasize his bootlicking. I’ll pass. Collaborate with Korn, Deftones, LP, or literally any other rock band instead. Also, Disturbed had made the same “Indestructible but worse” song for like 10 years now. If they were consistently releasing stuff like The Sickness, 10K Fists, and Asylum, I might feel differently but they are so far from those projects now in terms of quality.

If Kendrick were to rap with anyone metal band wise? I would suggest System of a Down (unlikely) or Rage Against the Machine (this one I could see) but yeah as many others in here have said, David Draiman is a Zionist, so fuck him.

Disturbed fell off after Ten Thousand Fist album imo but I’m all for the collab of metal & Kenny. Tech N9ne has alot of songs that feature metal artists and they tend to be pretty great. Though I would prefer a Johnathan David/Korn collab over Disturbed.

A collab between these genre’s would be fine and anything Kendrick does is gold, but this is just a desperate ploy by the Disturbed singer to stay relevant.
If this is real and they go through with it, the mix better not be ass. RATM’s self-titled debut comes to mind. On the other hand, Disturbed’s Ten Thousand Fists has some good songs but the horrible dynamics of the mix prevent me from liking it. From my observations and experiences a lot of modern metal songs are just blown out and way too fuckin loud. I wouldn’t like Kendrick’s voice being drowned out by the guitars (if metal is purely the path they’re taking with this project)
