I didn’t actually know who she was, and I momentarily thought she hunted trans celebrities
Is this making my groceries cheaper? I was told prices would be going down very quickly.
For a group of people who want less government meddling in their lives, they sure do love to govern the lives of others.
Americans are becoming more scared of a random trans person who lives in another state than the neo-nazis marching down their main streets.

I had no idea who she was and watched her movie Cuckoo a few weeks ago, and it took until after the movie for my wife to make a comment about how she’s a trans woman. No idea. Let people live their lives in peace, holy shit.

I work for post office, a couple of weeks ago all the offices got thousands of new forms that had the M/F/X gender markers on them. NOW we’ve been ordered to throw them all in the trash and wait weeks for replacements. If you want government waste, this executive order is it.
Feels like a lot of work just to be assholes to a select group of people for no reason, no?

Of all the political policies from any modern political movement, this is the one I understand the least. I just don’t care at all about how somebody else is living their life. It impacts me not at all, and legal restrictions being put on it are solving a “problem” that doesn’t exist. It’d be like if a major political issue was suddenly “why is cola brown?! Cola companies continue to refuse to make their sodas green. If I’m elected, I will ensure all soda companies must make their colas green.” and somehow it resonated with enough people that it was the primary reason for electing the candidate. If I opened a cola tomorrow and it was green, it still tastes the same and impacts my life not at all in any sense. All it does it irritate cola companies or something.
Like… why are we spending money and time on this. That passport could have a giraffe emoji on it and nothing in the world will be different. I just do not understand. “This will improve the lives of nobody, but I’ve decided I dislike your demographic so I’m enacting this policy in order to make you mad.”
The world is on fire but don’t worry, you guys; they’re doing their best to beat down a tiny minority of people just trying to live their lives. That’ll make everything better.

The dad of the 15 year old was so supportive. He took her shopping and flew to the other side of the country to make sure she had the best doctor to complete the transition.

This just realistically creates confusion. Imagine a border agent seeing this absolute stunner and seeing M on the passport. It’s confusing more than anything.

Members of the passport office worked late the night before the inauguration to ensure they got as many trans passports out the door and in the mail as they could. Those are real American heroes.

When I applied for a visa to India, if I were female and married, I had to list who my husband was. If I were female and unmarried, I had to list who my father was. If I were male, I didn’t have to list anything.
They basically want to know who owns me. If I’m a guy, I own myself.
So now she has less paperwork if she wants to go to India.
Hey fun fact. Of the around 500k professional athletes in the USA, only 10 are trans.

Why does gender matter on a passport, when the passport database has plenty of other data points to identify a person?
