How about this? You can start elevated CMD real quick by clicking Run New Task while holding CTRL (as long as your Task Manager is elevated).

You can also type the first letter of The application you’re looking for, and keep tapping said letter to cycle through all the ones that start with that. Like V for VLC for ex.
Shift+Esc while in firefox opens a new tab and tells you what resources each tab uses.
