MAGA voted for trump because they didn’t want congress spending the money on the war and not them. Then they get trump and musk cutting all the spending that goes to them anyway and giving it the top 1%.
It’s sad watching how pathetic and stupid America looks now. I remember growing up in the 90s it had this image of the unassailable super power with the moral high ground. The country the world looked up to.
The Iraq and Afghanistan wars eroded that image but it still managed to hold. Now it’s well a truly in the trash. Trump diminishes a century’s worth of global power and reputation with every word and deed, and will make america isolated and poorer for it.

the US is a war economy, its aid to Ukraine isn’t out of the goodness of their hearts it’s strategy. does anyone actually think that in however many years from now, IF, this conflict is resolved that the US wouldn’t start calling in favors, putting military bases, extracting resources or any other way of exerting influence over Ukraine? and at any push back cry about ohhh what about all the aid money tho
Zelensky doesn’t need to say thank you to anyone. He’s turned to the rest of the world to help save his country and the only answer he’s gotten is oh that sucks, take some bullets tho while we watch your citizens die on the nightly news.
Ukraine and Zelensky deserve so much better and the US government is a complete fucking disgrace.

He thanks us constantly in his casual speeches addressing his people too. I don’t know why, we promised to protect them if they gave us their nukes in ’94’. We will never be trusted again, by the international community.
