At Paradise, Rainier NPS

Great work.

Sort of unrelated, but the last time I visited Mount Rainier I listened to a podcast about the shooting that took place there a few years ago that took the life of a Park Ranger, and how all the visitors were trapped inside Jackson Visitor Center for hours while they tried to find the guy.

It stuck with me because you’d think a National Park would be the least likely place something like this would happen, and it’s stuck with me more ever since these firings when I read people saying stuff like these peoples jobs don’t matter, or that they are not important. They will put their lines on the live to save people, whether from a shooting, or for them getting lost in the wilderness and deserve the same respect as any other first responder

How did you get past the Longmire gate?

Has anyone spoken with these people with NPS? Wonder if any of them spoke out yet anonymously at least.

This is just disappointing. It doesn’t matter if you like the current president or not this country is great and there are more opportunities for the citizens of it then most others . No it won’t be given to you on a silver platter unless your parents give it to you but you have the opportunity if you are willing to do the work
