There are some channels that are so heavily imposed that it’s just annoying, do they pay for promotion?
It’s been 3 years, youtube. You’ve suggested the same video every time. For. Three. Years. It’s not going to happen

You’ll have to click on new things to make anything meaningful happen to the algorithm. I’ve tried nothing but “Not interested” or “Do not recommend channel” for a couple hours straight and almost no effect.
I’ve grown accustomed to simply opening a private window to get SOMETHING new recommended to me (though it will require you to search for some videos first).
Trying to drown out political content and video essays on woke video games is hard enough.
But for some reason, every few months YouTube goes nuts trying to suggest Sopranos clips to Mr. I have never watched that show or searched for it. But here are a bunch of clips of people on the show getting whacked.
If I get that stupid fucking Apt Apt song in YouTube short one more time, I’m gonna pop a blood vessel
For me its a bunch of accounts with similar names all talking about how pluto collided with neptune or some bullshit, i cant get rid of them.

He already prepared like 100 suggestions to you, he will not waste them if you suddenly disliked one of them

When I do that it never recommends me those channels again
Same thing with Instagram (especially Reels). I keep telling them to not suggest posts by certain accounts, and I keep being force fed with that stuff. We’re talking about incredibly low quality attempts at humor and also just lots of stuff in languages that I don’t even understand….. why does it keep promoting Indian, Russian and Spanish posts to me?
My problem is that it keeps recommending me some random videos with less than 10 view on topics that I’m not interested at all
I suspect that “Don’t recommend this channel” button is a lot like many pedestrian crossing buttons. They do fuck all.
This is me with cdawg va and any of the dudes from trash taste. I click the button but they keep appearing from other channels that feature them. I cant escape
There’s one channel it’s a black guy making a stupid wide eyes open face below video stealing content. Hate hate hate the channel and it always pops up
And it’s always some corny fucking gooner bait channel.
Also those stupid banners you can click the x on: “Ok got it, will not show again”
