This is “good trouble” personified. This could have been a moment of solidarity from Dem House members – who should have walked out en masse when this happened…but no. They basically sat there and took it from Trump (without lube) except for a few performative auction signs.
Nobody had a spine. He used a cane to keep himself up to try and fight.
Yeah, he was the only one with the balls to be defiant and his colleagues just sat there letting him go. I’m calling my representative to let them know they are a coward for not joining with him.

The optics of a black man yelling at Trump while the nearly ALL WHITE Republican congress yelling at him to “sit down” was absolutely breathtaking.

It was truly pathetic. All of them standing up with him would’ve made a greater statement and showed they aren’t done fighting. Sitting down represents their subservience.
Then, to sit for the kid who got the honorary badge was also a poor move. It’s obvious Trump honoring the little kid was a ploy. He knew the dems wouldn’t stand, which he could use to make them look worse.
Not a single Democrat stood up in solidarity with Green and walked out with him. Instead they sat there meekly with their little signs and looked at their phones the whole time. This is unacceptable from the so-called “resistance” to this illegal coup.
This whole situation is absurd, from not standing up and clapping for a child who doesn’t really know what’s going on to Trump doing this as a publicity stunt while actively cutting funding for children’s cancer research

I sort of wish r/pics was went back to what it use to be instead of over half of it being politics. I see all this crap on the news and all over other social media that I get enough of it (I got tried it when it started to be become more prevalentduring Biden’s term). If you want to post stuff about politics and what not do it on a politics related subreddit, not on a place like r/pics. I dont care what your political views are, you could hate Trump and think he is the worst thing humanity has to offer or think he is the best and can basically do no wrong, but do it on a different subreddit instead of one where I think you should be you get on to get away from all this. Is this going to be the next 4 years or more if it continues after the next election too. Sort of wish I was head moderator for this subreddit because it could be a post about praising Trump or bashing something related to Trump it would be at least gone or just moved if possible.
Probably going to get down voted if this is even seen but whatever.
