His son does a huge amount of humanitarian work in Ukraine. Donated 520million+ so far.
I’m not sure it can be counted as Warren Buffet’s donation, but I’m sure his investment work has been a large contribution to that fund that is used. Without him, I’m not sure his son wouldnt have access to that much money.

While this is a great thing, it happened over a year ago. And it wasn’t Warren but his son Howard through the Howard G Buffet Foundation. By January 2024, the Foundation had given $521 million in humanitarian assistance. He has also given to numerous other countries.

A lot of rich people and billionaires spent the last 3 years staunchly supporting Ukraine – and giving massive amounts of money to the Republican Party – many of them are, almost surely, feeling *extremely* guilty and ashamed right about now… Well, they are ecstatic at all the tax-breaks, but they didn’t want it to cost them Ukraine (or Canada, Mexico, Greenland, Denmark, etc…)
