This is dystopian. Police in force protecting corporations. There’s a word that defines exactly what this is, Fascism. Americans, you are literally seeing your democracy transformed into a fascist state.

Chicago cops have always been shitfucks. In the late sixties they beat up my dad, a drafted Vietnam army veteran who fought on the front lines and eventually died of agent orange exposure, for being a longhaired protester when he got back.

No no, you’re wrong. There WERE this many cops at Uvalde, they just didn’t do anything but taze the parents who tried to go in and do the cops’ job for them.

Authoritarians did our job for us; they effectively shut down the dealership. No shoppers are walking though that wall of police, and their security theatre implied a massive threat against anyone who might own a car in the future.

If you don’t have two dozen Chicago PD at your beck and call, maybe it’s unwise to own a Tesla.

Having to walk through a wall of police probably isn’t helping customers feel comfortable buying a swasticar even if they like the new branding.
