One day a guy in his 50’s started at my job, having recently moved from New England and he seemed like every other old dude I worked with.
But then one day when the conversation turned to the NFL he said “I may be a family man with a wife, but the THINGS I would let Tom Brady do to me…”
I laughed until I cried. Once he realized we appreciated his humor he really opened up.
Those were the best mentors at times and the worst examples at others.
