Seeing the sun rise against the 300-400 meter walls of a glacial formed lake was a pretty special experience. I was lucky enough to camp here on a trip with a mate during the last days of the fagus season this year. I came across this composition late the previous afternoon and new I had to shoot it for sunrise. Its hard to understand the scale of this place even standing here, let alone in photos.
