is this laptop sucking directly from the carpet?
They don’t know much about computers if they didn’t know you can turn off the setting that turns off the computer if you close the lid.
So that’s where the reddit is located.
imagine taking the time to put that fucking sign on the laptop instead of changing the settings so it doesn’t turn off when you close the lid

The university I used to work at, had a server like this running in a conference room. It was running class registration software.

Power options, *close lid do nothing*?
Last week I had one of my drives fail on my pex server(sounded like a cat hitting a fan) but it’s in raid 0 so I just pulled the hot swap drive .. what do you do in this use case.. probably no redundancy and if it has it no hot swap your gonna go down and louse data

I was using the same laptop for a minecraft server not long ago
We have 3 of those in my company, they get closed all the time. Also if you close the blinds on the Server room it overheats and shuts down the entire company.
Go to battery settings and change close lid behavior… Users whom disguise them as admins…
Turn off lid action > close the lid > flip upside down = better cooling neater look
Bruh… Turning off when the lid is closed is a setting you can definitely turn off 💀
