In fact the very existence of the cybertruck was proof he was always crazy.
The annoying thing about the “elon turned crazy” narrative is that elon never changed at all.
He was always this way and while i’m glad that most people are now clued in enough to identify him as a grifter, i’m saddened that it has become political, rather than simply focused on his false promises and lies.

Just ask yourself: What is the name of the Toyota CEO? What about Honda’s CEO? What do they tweet about? Both amazing car companies that have been around longer than Tesla and provide excellent hybrid and full electric options. No LiDAR was enough for me to pick something else even ‘before he went crazy’

Yesterday in Baltimore I saw a cucktruck with a paper taped to it. It said fuck elon Muskmusk, and the center of the tailgate had a Ford logo on it. A few minutes later some guy came around and ripped off the paper, but it didn’t seem it was the owner. People are weird lol

Lol yes, but the cybertruck itself is evidence that the designer is crazy. It’s clearly the case that it can only be the product of somebody who is deranged.
Lets start with a look and then try to shoehorn some vague truck like features into it, without talking to any truck users or having any idea what might be an improvement on trucks, whilst compromising everything that makes it a useful conventional electric vehicle.
A worst of all worlds design, that also implies that those buying it are also not all there. They aren’t people with a grasp of reality, car engineering, finance or who show concern to other road users or pedestrians.
They make the strongest possible case for an aggressively more progressive wealth tax so they can’t waste money like this.
That the thing. There’s plausible deniability with the older models. A lot of people bought their Tesla’s when Musk was telling homophones not to bother. But the facade was long gone by the time the Cybertruck came out.
Pre-order dropped a bit before the shoe really fell imo. Had a friend put down for one… never did hear if he took delivery. Hope not

Elon joined Donald Trump in November/ December.
