So did they prove this is the guy that shot the ceo yet or are we just running on the idea that US police don’t habitually plant evidence to make an arrest?

He would have looked less cool if they didn’t roll out the red carpet, bring out the indicted mayor, and try to make a teaser trailer for Con Air 2:Luigi’s Home. They’re acting like he’s a mastermind and they are scared of him.

Holy fuck that smolder I can’t

Free Luigi and let’s make some fucking change in this country. Everyone needs and deserves Healthcare. Fuck these billionaires stealing our loved ones from us because they can’t make a dollar off of it. I pay my taxes, so did they! Our country should work for us, not them!

Not that I’d defend the feds. But these aren’t the feds.

What if he squirts a McD ketchup packet in their eyes and takes off like Superman? Can’t have too many guards.

Dude has more police escorts than Lee Harvey Oswald.

Life imitates art.

If they didn’t want us to celebrate this guy. Probably shouldn’t given him a parade.

I’ve been in handcuffs that attach to a belt like that along with leg irons (shackles), and it’s a dehumanizing experience.

IMO, this wasn’t really meant to be a display of any kind, this was fear that some mob would come and try to free him.

I’m not one to defend the pigs, but this many of them on escort duty makes some sense…

Lots, and we all know it’s LITS of people want to see Luigi go free, and no doubt some might try to make it happen if there was only one or two cops guarding him.

If they wanted him to fade into obscurity, a legendary perp-walk with insane color contrast was NOT a good choice.

They practically drew him into the photo like the main-character in a manga.

One badass album cover.

I would be SO embarrassed if my dad was one of these cops. It’s like they’re walking into a war zone, jesus christ.

DENY. DELAY. DEPOSE.

Anyone have others?

He killed 1 dude who led a careless life hurting countless others.

Italian guy with “do-you-even-lift-bro” arms needs more guards than the Incredible Hulk.

Makes them all look inept and weak, when they use that many to walk a perp.

Can he receive a death sentence or „only“ a life sentence? Death Penalty can only happen if the terror allegations are going to stick, right ?

Not Eric Adams walking like he’s a protagonist of an action movie 😀

They look worried the people will rescue the real hero.

(btw How’s your tuesday… 😉 )

I can’t help consider that there are some sad, confused and angry guys out there who have been thinking of shooting up a school, church or shopping mall. Guys who are now thinking, “Wait, you can do that?”

Any chance I could get the sauce or an un edited/memed version of this photo?

No reason. I’m sure the lighting and balance won’t make any cool wall art or anything.

Here’s my theory: they *want* copycats. CEOs being attacked is probably the fastest possible road to tons of more money for law enforcement and vastly expanded police/surveillance powers. It’s the only thing that makes sense, because they *know*, probably better than anyone else, how copycats seek attention. They might as well have had a blinking neon sign over Luigi’s head that reads, “This cool guy could be you!”

That Luigi, man. They had to bring a whole squad and it looks like the squad has bodyguards and the bodyguards have FBI agents watching THEM, while having him handcuffed, footcuffed and waistcuffed. In case he *tries* something. Because they know that, this player right here? He’s different, he don’t drive a Cadillac, he don’t got a perm, why should we let you in the Pimp Legion of Doom?

You don’t see a lot of them everyday, and they objectively and measurably make life worse for all of us.

Plot twist: all of these police are fifth columnists, knowingly turning him into a martyr but maintaining plausible deniability.

look at those lil buddies all dressed up for tough. walkin’ tough.

Those swatted up cops look and probably feel ridiculous.

I mean, if you’ve met any cop at all you understand why they feel the need to do this.

I hope he asked the guards how their healthcare is. I wonder if any of them had a bad experience with the American healthcare system.

This photo is pure comedy gold.

You might as well say that Rittenhouse’s acquittal was jury nullification. It wasn’t. The prosecution failed to prove its case. Zimmerman’s trial was the same.

The defense laser-focused on the five seconds where it could be painted as reasonable that he feared for his life, and the prosecution failed to effectively establish that zimmerman was more or less stalking his victim for quite a while before he got confronted.

Almost literally the exact same thing happened with Rittenhouse. The prosecution failed to properly establish that Rittenhouse was going off on his own to follow a small group of people after a crowd had been dispersed, and then imposed himself upon them once they started trying to torch a car.

Nobody would’ve died if Zimmerman had followed the directions of a 911 operator, and nobody would’ve died if Rittenhouse had followed police orders to disperse and go home.

Or at least, if he’d followed those orders the first time he heard them. After the shooting he tried to inform a cop about it, and supposedly the cop wasn’t even listening and just told him to go home. That time he followed the order. Wonder why he didn’t do that the first time

But either way a clearly premeditated and targeted attack is far removed from what happened in either of the other cases, and the “grey area” is what made both of those cases acquittals. Zimmerman more than Rittenhouse, because he was straight up under-charged, but that’s another thing

(In case you’re wondering, Rittenhouse should’ve gotten a felony gun charge but did not because then his homicide charges would’ve been automatic felony murder).

By now the joker would have been released cause he targetted normal people and not a rich guy
