I started on playstation so I call it the square button. even though I havent played playstation in a very long time and mostly stayed on xbox and use xbox controller on PC and see xbox glyphs, my brain still maps it as square.

I would say nobody does this, but my sister and I used to call circle red. We called literally every other button the proper name except circle. I have no idea why and one day we just randomly stopped
