Yeah, we should ban kids from games
Eventually you’ll reach the singleplayer gaming arc in your life and then the problem eliminates itself. Until then, I don’t know what works (I’ve always been a singleplayer gamer for the most part).
If the only gaming you enjoy is ranked comp you better learn to hang, otherwise there are as many genres as there are games go find a different one. No shame in single player, no shame in easy mode
Do what I did. Make a small gaming group and use the ten year olds to defeat the 10 year olds. All it costs you is some basic time organizing people. The odd scheduled battle with another group and giving legit advice on teenagers absolutely god awful life decisions
