with all due respect, RUN and don’t look back, I cannot imagine a world where he could validate the reason behind looking up this type of stuff. it’s weird and extremely concerning… don’t be another 20/20 episode.

I’ve looked up what a human would taste like once when I was at a live-in job and we were joking about the food, but this many searches? There’s soooo many and phrased so many ways that it is extremely creepy imo

This is some wild stuff to be googling and I can think of only one innocent reason to google it and if he is doing research for a book they can find that out for themselves in the meantime go as far away as your current tank of gas will get you, refuel, and keep driving.
More specifically – he wants to kill someone and is concerned about corpse disposal. Eating a corpse is as viable a means of disposal as any other, and likely easier than burying or dissolving in acid.

As you have repeatedly asked for proper advice in the comments here a little more insight on the way I would approach this:
1. Get other people involved ASAP! Tell friends, tell colleagues, tell family. Tell people you trust and send them this screenshot so that they know what you’re dealing with and so that there is proof in case something does happen.
2. Have a sit down with your husband AND someone else who you trust and who you feel safe with. Show him and ask him for an explanation.
3. If he doesn’t have one or if what he does tell you feels like an excuse, immediately get a lawyer and file for divorce. Also leave and go somewhere safe, stay with a friend, or family or at a womens shelter.
DO NOT spend any time alone around this man unless it is absolutely crystal clear that this has a reasonable explanation and that he is 100% not a threat. I repeat, DO NOT SPEND ANY TIME ALONE WITH HIM!

Make #2 happen in a public place or skip it altogether if you feel like his potential for violence is too much of a risk. He’s your husband, I assume you know him at least well enough to have a baseline of how likely he is to snap when put on the spot. If there is potential for a volatile reaction, just go straight to the cops please.
No matter what is going on, right now you need help. Even without this latest, it’s bad but this pushes it to another level. Question – has he ever laid hands on you? Hands round your neck, for example?
Is he by chance a writer? If the answer to that is no, then maybe you should be worried. If the answer is yes, he might just be writing a book… hopefully.
Run. Now. Shack up with friend, take a lover you can stay with. Call upon your family. Something untraceable. Anything. Not his card.
If you are not trolling you need to get away from that person. Find a friend or a relative you can stay with for a while. And probably report him to the police, this doesnt seem like normal curiosity to me

I search weird stuff after watching true crime documentaries and youtube videos on murders. Usually it’s about those specific cases though to see where they are now and what sentences they received.
That said, these seem oddly specific. The cannibalism interest may be after watching a documentary or reading a story on cannibalism. The other things like “burying a body, bruising, cutting throat” is more worrisome. I would contact a lawyer..
I search weird, dark shit sometimes and it’s completely benign. So this could just be him going down a freaky rabbit hole with no nefarious intentions.
That said,, given the state of your marriage, I don’t think you’re overreacting. You should be concerned.
At a minimum, I recommend sharing the screenshot with a couple of trusted loved ones. This way if something happens, fingers can be pointed in the right direction. Police won’t do anything with this. since there is no direct threat to you, but it can’t hurt to at least stop by the station to express your concerns and see if they can offer any advise.

This is grounds for a divorce, if NOTHING else. Unless he’s a writer, he definitely is considering. I’ve researched a lot of bizzare things, but even if I go down a rabbit hole out of morbid curiosity, I’ve never gone that in depth and…clinical, about what I’m looking at.
The question here is less about how you should leave, but how SOON you should leave. If he’s in this state of mind to google these things, drunk or not, this needs to be reported and you need to leave. The question of “how do we know…” makes me think he plans on feeding you someone else, or feeding someone else, you. None of these are something to dimiss.
So if this is real and not a karma farm : GET. OUT. Withdraw enough money to drive to a relative’s house, take the bare essentials and file for divorce. Bring the police with you when you go to collect your things and NEVER be alone with him again.

I don’t care if he’s a writer or if he went down a rabbit hole. Such searches are concerning especially in the context of your rocky situation. I would greatly consider going somewhere safe first before asking him about it.
Please contact a crime victim rights organization (in the US they are in most communities). and ask for their advice. Or a family lawyer. Don’t go home till you do.
